The members

Matt Goss — Vocals & Guitar. Multi-instrumentalist: vocalist, guitarist (acoustic and electric — bass, lead, and rhythm), percussionist, with ventures into piano and keyboards. Show producer and the creative engine behind the band's original variety show format.

Lori Staten — Bass & Vocals. Bass, lead vocals, harmonies, and percussion. Staten's vocal and instrumental range anchors the band's ability to cover genres from jazz standards to rock.

The approach

The Matt Goss Band doesn't just play covers. They produce shows — fully staged variety performances with multiple acts, guest performers, comedy, and community celebration. The Pure Imagination show (February 2026) is the template: a themed spectacular with a cast of performers, not a two-piece playing a bar set.

Community roots

Founded in 2024, the band is rooted in Lake County, Florida — specifically the Leesburg area. Performances happen at local venues (Venetian Gardens, Holiday RV Park) and the charitable initiatives (DAV, Haven House, HRVV Residents Fund) are local too. This is community music with professional production values.
