What Is Songbird?

What Songbird is

Songbird Support Services was born from a simple belief: music reaches where words can't. The service brings live, interactive music wellness sessions to memory care and assisted living facilities — rooted in ADRD certification, genuine compassion, and firsthand experience walking alongside loved ones through cognitive decline.

Music is one of the last things dementia takes. Songbird shows up to meet residents right there.

What a session looks like

Sessions run 60 minutes, on-site at the facility. Solo performance and guided sing-alongs with repertoire tailored to residents' era — crooners, standards and big band, show tunes, 50s through 70s rock. Gentle, dementia-aware facilitation throughout. No special equipment required from the facility's team.

What sets it apart

ADRD-certified — this is more than entertainment. Grounded in real caregiving experience. Insured with certificate of insurance provided. Flexible configurations: solo, duo, or trio. Compassionate pricing available for facilities with limited enrichment budgets.

Session rates

Single visit: $150 per session. Monthly bi-weekly (2 sessions): $275/month, saving $25. Monthly weekly (4 sessions): $500/month, saving $100 — includes custom song list, resident profiles, and monthly wellness summary.
