The service

Songbird Support Services provides live, interactive music wellness sessions to memory care, assisted living, and adult day program facilities. Sessions are designed around the therapeutic power of music — especially for residents living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Session format

Each session runs 60 minutes, on-site at the facility:

Solo performance and guided sing-alongs. Repertoire tailored to residents' era and preferences — crooners, standards and big band, show tunes, 50s, 60s, and 70s rock. Gentle, dementia-aware facilitation throughout every session. No special equipment required from the facility's team.

Pricing

Single visit: $150 per session. Monthly bi-weekly (2 sessions): $275/month, saving $25. Monthly weekly (4 sessions): $500/month, saving $100 — includes custom song list, resident profiles, and monthly wellness summary. Compassionate pricing is available for facilities with limited enrichment budgets. Inquire confidentially.

Credentials and compliance

Florida DOEA ADRD One-Hour Certificate. Florida DOEA ADRD Two-Hour Certificate. General liability insurance — certificate of insurance provided on request. Registered Florida sole proprietorship. Based in Fruitland Park, FL.

What sets this apart

This is not background entertainment. ADRD certification means the facilitator understands cognitive decline and adapts the session in real time to residents' responses and energy levels. The work is grounded in real caregiving experience — firsthand experience walking alongside loved ones through cognitive decline.

Flexible configurations: solo, duo, or trio, depending on the facility's needs and preferences.
